ABOUT VERN

Yoga and bodywork have shaped my life in ways I never expected. What started as a physical practice slowly became something much deeper — a way of listening, slowing down, and learning how to be a little kinder to my own body and nervous system.


Working with bodies over the years has taught me a lot about patience and presence. It’s shown me that progress doesn’t always come from pushing harder, but from paying attention and giving ourselves permission to soften when we need to.


Outside of teaching and bodywork, my world is grounded by the people I love. Family and close friends keep me steady, laughing, and honest — and my fur pups are daily reminders to pause, breathe, and enjoy the simple things (and maybe take more walks).


Teaching yoga at Studio West Park feels like an extension of all of that. My classes are thoughtful, steady, and rooted in real life. We move, breathe, and explore what it means to show up as we are — no expectations, no performance.
